What types of questions should be posted onto the Blackboard communication area for the individual courses?
The Blackboard communication centres for each course have been set up to facilitate the communication of students and lecturer across time and space. It is therefore meant to be used to post specific questions to the lecturer and/or other students enrolled in a specific course that will enable a sense of community to develop within the course for distance students situated in many parts of Australia and the world. It allows online collaboration and learning to take place within a password protected and moderated environment and allows better interaction between students and lecturers and a saving of time in the answering of questions and giving advice and the provision of additional resources and links. Please ensure that you post ALL course related questions to the Blackboard discussion area set up for the particular course you are enrolled in so other students can also benefit from the lecturers reply. The lecturers will only reply to personal emails to their CQU email addresses if the topic is of a personal or sensitive nature that other students should not have access to for privacy reasons. Any general course related questions on CQU staff emails will, be referred back to the student to post in Blackboard before an answer will be given.
