What must I do if I an internet web address in the study materials is out of date?
Some times in an ever changing medium like the web, the paper reference materials get out of date very quickly and the weblinks given in your study guide may be incorrect. Try doing a search on Google for some key words in the information source you are trying to access online. Secondly you can go back to the source site eg: if a link such as http://www.cqu.edu.au/itd/students/email.htm does not work, then go to http://www.cqu.edu.au/, the main home page of the site and try and access the deeper link from there. Next post your problem or lost link to the relevant discussion area of the course Blackboard communication area, for advice and help from other students and the lecturer. Don’t give up, finding information online is a valuable skill that all students need to have.
