What OHS programs are offered at CQU?
We offer two main Occupational Health and Safety programs, the
Bachelor of OHS, and the Graduate
Diploma of OHS (which has an early exit award of the Graduate
certificate in OHS). In addition we also have the Health and Human
Performance: Honours
program in Occupational Health and Safety.
The Graduate Certificate in OHS is obtainable as an exit outcome from the
Graduate Diploma of OHS if the core OHS courses are completed but not the
courses NURS20130 Special Topics in Health and HLPB20003 Health Statistics
and Epidemiology. It is an early exit award from the Grad Dip OHS for those
who cannot continue on but still want to obtain a qualification for the
work completed.
Masters of Safety, Health and Environment (MSHE):
The proposed Masters of Safety, Health and Environment degree has been in
discussion at the university and is still in the discussion stages at present.
