Who has to attend the main integrated OHS residential school held each year in August/September?
The residential school that are held each year in Rockhampton around
August/September are a combined and integrated residential school,
that covers a variety
of practical residential school components for a number of different
course across the Bachelor of OHS and Graduate Diploma OHS programs.
It is an integrated approach in that for both programs, students have to attend one two week block residential school to cover the requirements of a number of courses within the two programs.
The Graduate Diploma students attend the residential school along with the undergraduate students and cross over learning occurs between the two groups, as well as valuable networking and communication.
Note: For each program students only have to attend the two week block residential school once in order to comply with the requirements of the courses and programs. Each program does have some individual requirements such as pre requisite courses before a student can attend.
